Some of these so-called trainers don’t know nearly as much as they’d have us think. Can’t count how many fights I’ve seen where nothing useful was offered to a fighter who was being out-thought. Trainers have to wear many hats. Most fighters don’t have great ring IQ. It’s up to their coach to think for them as much as possible.

Lmao We’ve all heard totally useless shit like, “Don’t get hit so much!” Lol It’s truly amazing. It seems to me there are precious few trainers who are worthy of top talent. And just because someone was a fighter, no matter how good, doesn’t mean they can coach. Sometimes they just can’t convey their knowledge.

Dorticos might make a better Heavy than a Cruiser. He has the power, height and reach to hang with the heavies but his skill level lacks some against his current cruiser brethren.

He doesnt look like a verry big cruiserweight though. He should stay there. At 220 pounds he would be fat.
