Deontay Wilder's next fight could be Adam Kownacki (managed by Haymon)

Deontay Wilder just pulled out of the deal he had with Skysports as a commentator for the Joshau vs Parker fight and decided to not travel over to the UK.

He recently was calling in to Thaboxingvoice show and when asked who he is going to fight next, either #1 ranked Dillian Whyte or #4 Povetkin.. he suddenly spilled the beans. The host listed all the top 15 ranked fighters for the WBC and Deontay answered "I got plenty names to chose from, it could be Adam Kownacki, thats the guy we were going to fight."

6'3 polish Adam Kownacki, signed with - yeah you guessed it - Al Haymon, ranked #9 by the WBC, another inhouse fight for Deontay Wilder.

Has Deontay Wilder ever fought an opponent (outside of Stiverne) thats not controlled by Al Haymon?

    Full WBC Rankings

    1. Dillian Whyte
    2. Dominic Breazeale
    3. Luis Ortiz
    4. Alexander Povetkin
    5. Kubrat Pulev
    6. Tony Bellew
    7. Johann Duhaupas
    8. Charles Martin
    9. Adam Kownacki
    10. Agit Kabayel

What about Dillian Whyte, what about Povetkin, what about the Ortiz rematch?

If AJ is going to choose to fight the easier guy next then people can’t get mad if Wilder does same.

Just make the fight with Wilder.

If Wilder fights Kownacki next you should be pissed off. Especially if the fight is signed before or soon after Joshua vs Parker.

If you dont find yourself being pissed off, then its time to come to terms with the fact that you are biased.

I know I will be annoyed if Joshua fights anyone other than Wilder or Miller (which actually looks like it would benefit the financials of the Wilder fight). Everything should be aimed at that fight.

If Wilder isnt fighting Joshua next, he should fight Whyte.

Miller vs Joshua in the US

Whyte vs Wilder in the UK

Those are proper marination fights that make sense. Anything else is stalling.

That proves Wilder is the GOAT, for sure!

It won't be Kownacki, he's too raw. My money's on Breazeale. After that's done, I think they'll hone in on Whyte for late 2018/early 2019.

For Kownacki this fight is too early , he has only a big bravehearth, but its not enough.

What easier guy is that ? Kownacki isnt even suppose to be in the top 10 he has 17 fights defeated Spzilka after a loss to Wilder and a long lay off.

No champion with 6 title defensives should be fighting anyone with only 17 fights , thats like Joshua fighting a Adrian Granat if he was available . How do you think the Wilder CULT base would react to that ? lol

Wilders entire logical process is laughable at best .

Goalposts are constantly shifting. From both sides.

But yeah a line in the sand would be fighting Klownacki. That would be unacceptable. But what other people want to see I guess.

For me I just look for fights that I perceive as being close to 50/50. So I wouldn't watch this. But I dunno if another highlight reel KO will cause a further stir in America amongst casuals.

Really unattractive fight if true, and not just because of Kownacki's waistline. If he can't get Joshua next then honestly he should just bite the bullet and fight Whyte, or if that's too poor an option, fight Breazele.
