Comments Thread For: Crawford Warns Horn: I Can Get Dirty Too, I'm No Small Pacquiao

Former two division world champion Terence Crawford (32-0, 23 KOs) is regarded by some as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the sport. After winning a world title at lightweight, and uniting all four of the major belts at junior welterweight, Crawford will look to become a three division champion when he faces WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn (18-0-1, 12 KOs).

Fight needs a good undercard, Horn is supposed to lose his belt to the first decent fighter he faces so it's not an exciting matchup.

Personal opinion, but I think Crawford wins very easily (and not over 12). Rough house tactics up front, but Crawford will check him soon enough and frequently. Guy is a fighting machine.

"He fought to win. I don't look at it as calling another fighter dirty when he did everything he could to win by any means. I like that. He's rough. He doesn't come to lay down. He comes to win," Crawford said.

I love that quote. That is what makes Terence Crawford a true fighter. He is technically sound, with underrated power (which I openly wonder will travel with him from 140), and he is smart in the ring. He picks apart his opponent based on what he sees in the way they are approaching him.

But in the end, he respects and is excited to get in there and mix it up. He loves the challenge, and wants the best. He loves fighters who will kick, bite, claw and head butt to win. It gives him an excuse to cut loose and really got to war. This guy just loves to fight. This is the longest he has ever gone between matches, and is probably chomping at the bit to get in that ring. Crawford is probably cheering for Horn to get dirty.

Looking forward to this fight not that many other people are but i know Jeff will bring and give it all.
He will give everything he has got and more. He is a rough, akward sometimes dirty fighter that will try not take a backward step.
Im not delusional and expect Bud to win but not without a war and alot of blood and sweat.

Any Crawford fight is worth being excited over. The guy fights hard and looks to dominate. Horn will come forward because that is who he is. It will be fun and action filled. I expect Crawford to win nearly every round. What I am truly curious about is has his move to 147 brought any of his KO power with him? He has the better part of a year (last August) to train and add weight. If he can't KO Horn, he is not going to be able to do it to the top 147 fighters. This is a long way from his 135 days. A very tough transition.

Exactly why i am interested in this fight. If for nothing else but to see how Bud adjusts to this new weight.
Believe it or not i think Horn will be Buds hardest fight to date.
Horn did just beat Manny which is nothing to be taken lightly.
