The opponents that AJ has fought in 20 fights is about right. He's taking the right fights at the right time. There's nothing more you can ask of Joshua at this point in his career.

I assume you are addressing the first comment to Hearn. When you say 'no-one wants to see that fight', I assume you mean no-one in this boxing forum, and you're right. Trouble is there are hundreds of bumble-heads out there that will happily pay to see a Whyte - Joshua rematch (or Joshua vs anyone), so if Wilder doesn't take it, that's the fight that happens, else, or additionally, a Joshua v Miller fight afterwards.

So if Wilder doesn't take it (Whyte), he's going to be left out in the cold.

As for Wilder's rematch suggestion that he gets the same terms as Joshua in a rematch, there are A side/B side similarities with Canelo/Golovkin, and even DLH wasn't coked up enough to say yes to that sort of arrangement. Like Golovkin, Wilder needs to take what's offered or it doesn't happen. No harm in starting with a 50/50 demand or whatever, but he's going to have to take something less + a rematch clause with terms left open, else again, the fight simply never happens.

Wilder gets paid well with or without Whyte. The AJ fight is dumb money, but regardless neither guy is gonna miss a meal if they don't fight.

GGG didn't exactly take what was offered, he put pressure to make them negotiate in good faith and not have the take-it-or-leave-it option that Golden Boy started with. Wilder should do the same. Make them negotiate fairly. I don't believe there should be a 50/50 split, but Wilder is a much bigger draw than Parker and that fight should at least serve as a benchmark for negotiations
