That has nothing to do with canelo, thats what happens. Champion face other champions, Champions face Mandatories etc. GGG accepted step aside money, Canelo took the Money Fight fight against Cotto, Beat Cotto then dropped the belt.

If GGG did not accept step aside money? what would happen?

A) Cotto must face GGG for The WBC BELT?
B) Cotto refuses and gets stripped? And GGG fights for the belt
C) GGG Cant have his cake and eat it too.
