Keith Thurman fight is canceled.

No sources for this. I'm using my own common sense. Keith Thurman vs TBA on May 19th only 7 weeks away. If an opponent isn't named by the end of this week Keith isn't fighting in May. Keith should've already had an opponent, promotion, and tickets on sale. Keith is a big name but not big enough a name to sell tickets in 6 weeks. There would need to be a big promotional push to sell tickets that late and Keith will be in training camp. He can't properly train and promote it the way it would need to be promoted.

The fight is the same day as the Stevenson-Jack fight but separate sites. The Stevenson-Jack card has an undercard set. Thurman's card doesn't have an undercard set. Jack and Stevenson have already started posting training videos online showing they're in camp. Thurman is still posting his highlight videos and throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game.

He might be one of the guys getting with Hearn. Hearn's been talking about getting some US guys. Seeing several people saying Thurman is one of the leading contenders to be one of those guys.

Or it could even be Arum cuz Arum's been talking about signing PBC guys & Bud, Manny & Horn fights could be doable over that way.

But yea I wouldn't be surprised if Thurman is jumping ship. Can't do this PBC thing when its going to parts unknown & lacks a general direction still 3 years in or is in a rebuilding/recovery stage.

Not according to suliamin, it's Porter than Garcia....Keith is a once a year fighter so they ain't too cool with him trying to face a can then fight in 2019 sometime....

I think it needs more promotion against a lesser name opponent.

I can't help but wonder if Thurman has become disinterested in the sport or something. He obviously got up for the Garcia fight, but that has been a while now.
