Rafael asserts that even in trace amounts, it is still above the minimum allowed and therefore Alvarez received benefit from the substance that his opponent would not have, even if ingested accidently. If that is the hard line they take, than the sequel for this fight is no sooner than September.

As for Saunders, eh. It would be a unification fight 2 years in the making. That would be the easiest sell for HBO and Golovkin. Losing out on the Alvarez fight would hurt his legacy and his pocketbook, so if this is the best option kill the May 5 date, set up a June one, put it on regular HBO and at least get the titles all under one roof. Golovkin has always said unification was his major goal at 160.
Yeah they need to kill the Cinco De Mayo date. Seeing a white British and a Russian/Asain fight on a MexiCAN Holiday is gonna turn a lot of ppl off.... Put Zurdo and GGG I'll buy that.

I know ppl might not understand what I'm talking about but think a bout 2 white dudes on PPV fighting on Martin Luther Kings Bday. Or two blacks dudes on St. Paddy day and then times it by 100x

I cant believe they are already making excuses and claim Saunders wont be ready? Is this for real? So Saunders might get the chance of his lifetime to fight on the biggest date in boxing, on HBO PPV vs GGG for all 4 major belts and he might not be ready? Jeez..if he isnt ready we know damn sure he aint never going to fight GGG. You remember his latest interviews? He speaks about the money he would have gotten for the Kazakhstan fight, where he would be vastly overpaid to fight in GGGs hometown and keeps saying I will fight GGG but only for the money they offered me that time.. Can you read between the lines??

BJS better make sure he's 100% if he goes in and loses nobody wants to hear any of his excuses. But when it's all said and done I think the Canelo fight will go thru it's too much money on the line for it not to happen

I don't think BJS can do to GGG what he did to Lemeiux. Lemeiux looked to be out of shape and was winding up too much on power shots.

Make this fight happen HBO for all the marbles. No more fucin excuses here's your chance to out shine Showtime with out some long drawn out tournement. Then when red balls gets off his meat suspensions and Oscar has enough backing of cash and sponsors make the rematch happen. Billy hoe time to cash in your trinket, Wbo belt.
