I honestly think Joshua came in heavy to prepare for Pulev, planning to lean on him, wrestle him in clinches etc and not to chase a little short, mobile guy like Takam round. On late notice it wasn't possible to change that approach. Still got the job done despite the dodgy finish.

It made a mockery of his much vaunted power that he landed heaps of shot's clean but still Takam was eating them and coming forward.

Sorry champ, but that didn't pass the eye test as much as baby Hughie dancing round the ring for 12 rounds and thinking he won the fight against Parker.

he didnt take it on two weeks notice though did he... he took joshua on two weeks but he'd been in camp for ten weeks preparing to be on a hearn card the week after joshua..

He was forewarned before the call to train for a potential fight with joshua because of a drop out from pulev.. so who you gona train for? the bum youwere meant to be fighting a week later, or just train for the current #1 in the division?

and joshua didnt knock out the guy who'd only been knocked out by a roided to the gills povetkin? i dont think he'll lose too much sleep over that considering takam is a ****ing walking block of granite.

How did parker do against Takam? UD? oh... i guess that means that the only person in the whole HW division that can punch with power is pedvetkin, and wilder who hasnt even faced someone with a chin like takam. cool...
