No, it was pretty good. Just more like well under 1m, not well over.

HBO's budget looking pretty bad though. Even if Joshua goes over for a fight or two, I doubt he signs long-term.

i dont think he goes HBO at all.. i think hearns just going for a stable monopoly with fighters on each network.

Yeah, that's what he's going for, but what is HBO going for? They want Joshua. I have no doubt they will go hard for him. We'll see what happens next.

i still wanna know what hearn has planned for matchroom USA.

So far he has jacobs, daniyar yelleusinnov.. and miller who i think is just oin a fight by fight thing.

I wana see hearn come out with some ****ing massive names that rock people to the core.

Joshua/wilder not going to generate the money Tyson/Lewis and may/pac did to have a cross promotion imo switching networks will all but kill fight

I don't think you're going to see any big names signing off. But perhaps a guy on Jacobs' level or below. He doesn't need big names right off the bat. Just to do well with the ones he does get and that will open the doors.

AJ and Wilder are the best HWT's in the world. This is the biggest fight in the sport. Frankly, with Canelo testing positive, it would help the sport if we have a massive world event where a clear undisputed HWT champion is crowned.

Miller, Whyte rematch, and Fury will be there for AJ win or lose.

I understand AJ should take the best deal he gets and have no issue with that. Just want to see the fight. I don't think it happens next if AJ goes to HBO.
If it can happen next for both guys, I would be absolutely thrilled! I hope it does pan out that way before Joshua goes across the street. Maybe Showtime can dangle that fight in front of him as part of a new deal? But yeah man, I agree it needs to happen sooner than later. Enough with the marinating of fights! lol

He should be looking at some young prospects as he is so confident that he could promote them better. I dont think he will personally.

Someone like Darmani Rock could work. He is young, big, HW without a big name promoter to my knowledge.

Would be interesting to see if he can snipe some of the inactive guys off Haymon. Haymon pays them so well though that could be a no go. Jacobs is a big test, if he passes then others may well follow.

Its going ti be very tough for him. Its a busy market, and he has gotten his chance on HBO when they are at an all time low in terms of investing in boxing. I cant see it working out long term
