Joe Goossen - Amir Khan's New Trainer

What do you think about Joe as Amir's trainer? Is it a good or a bad move?

Terrible move if its true. I'll never forget the advice he was giving John Molina Jr in his fight with Matthysse..............Keep your chin down and swing with him lol!!! Pray for Amir!

      Ah no.

He needs someone who gets him to throw less punches not more.

Adam Booth probably would have been good for Amir Khan.

that suggests amir still doesn't know his identity as a fighter, still trying to figure himself out, doubting a lot of things. what is joe going to give him that virgil couldn't? unless virgil's health is the issue...

Adam Booth would be perfect for Amir or he should go back with Jorge Rubio and work alongside Luke Campbell

Does his new trainer specialise in glass repairs?

Maybe Goosen can improve Khans inside game since he doesnt seem to have one
As long as Goosen makes Khan quick and sharp while keeping his composure he'll be ok
