Canelo is the money right now and ggg is someone only fans know of. Canelo is an international star and can draw huge numbers whereas ggg is a tv fighter.

Fighters want the biggest payday and Canelo is that payday. It's the same reason people called out Manny and Floyd for years and years. They brought huge money.

Can't make much money fighting a banned boxer. Canelo has never been close to Manny or Floyd's level in terms of generating money since his accomplishments have also paled in comparison. Canelo was one of the biggest earners in boxing. Whether he continues to make money depends on the NSAC.
