I call BS on this here. Everything I've read suggests banks only deal in half when dealing with torn currency. I read that if it's less than 40%, you get nothing, 40-60% gives half, and they pay 100% for over 60%.

Again, I mentioned what I was told 15 years ago. It has no bearing in my current life. If my new dog happens to chew up part of another bill, I'll look into then.
