I hope it happens, but won't be surprised if it doesn't. not necessarily a good thing for either fighter to have to fight after all this bs and uncertainty. if it does come off, I hope we still see the best of both guys.

I would say no with HBO backing away from it, but Golovkin vs Saunders isn't going to be a huge PPV success on Cinco de Mayo either so maybe it will. It's probably not a bad thing altogether for Canelo given the first fight showed us that he has difficulty coming out on top vs Golovkin. If he was taking something it could be because his best wasn't quite good enough.

Canelo/Coka dela NoseCandy didn't want to fight GGG in May anyway so maybe he sucks off a NSAC rep to get a long enough suspension where GGG fights in May then Canelo fights in June/July then they fight in September.

If they can cancel a Tyson fight, they can cancel any fight, well except maybe you know who.
