GBP is definitely making a BIG gamble on Linares! They let Linares fight on ESPN, which HBO can't be happy with, and they low-balled the promotion for Sadam Ali!

Hey, I'm wondering the same thing. But I was told Garcia & Spence had to fight and beat Cotto to become a PPV star. The road to becoming a PPV star goes thru Cotto

Lmaoooooooo Cotto lost basically all of his mega fights. I will not include Sergio Martinez fight cuz that man was cripple. Cotto is not the person who opens the ppv door. Big fan base? Yes. Great Fighter he's the best PR stats wise. Spence has an long way go. And Garcia needs an promoter cuz idc who he beats unless it's Spence he is not an ppv draw with his blan personality. Bob was marketing him great then that layoff set him back.
