How big of a shock would Price beating Povetkin be?

I'm struggling to think of a bigger shock in recent times.

I am 100% confident Price gets chinned in under 2.

If he won it would be epic. Especially due to Povetkin's suspect past.

Come on Pricey! Just swing for the cheap seats, big lad.

It would be, but at the same time Price hits like a tank so anything is possible. Price has to get it done though in the first 2 rounds or its over.

I want him to jump on Povetkin Peter McNeeley vs Tyson style.

Scotty Cardle got criticised for his tactics at the weekend but I thought they basically worked. He hurt Ritson a bit but he just isn't a puncher. He probably came as close to winning that fight to as if he tried fiddling his way through it and boxing off the back foot. He would have just gotten broken down.

I know Price's power is best established with the long right hand but he's getting chinned if they box. I'm hoping for surprise tactics. There has to be a way of making a 6'9 19 stone boxer a physically tough proposition for a smaller guy like Povetkin.

This would be a Buster Douglas type shock, in fact, i would go as far as saying the biggest boxing shock of all time.

It's not far fetched that Price will land something big on Povetkin in the first round or 2 but if it doesn't put him away then Price will take a beating for a few rounds then gas out! I hope i'm wrong and Price springs the upset but i just cannot see it

Price beating Povetkin would be the biggest upset ever. The dude was barely scrapping by against Sokolowski in hist most recent fight and like always gassed out around the 4th round mark.

Povetkin winning by KO currently sits at 1/7, which should be much lower and is free Money.

On another note, who is the smallest fighter who could beat Price? Bivol or Golovkin?

Not looked at the odds yet. Will probably pick a round.

That's a good question. I always felt a smaller guy could beat Sam Peter basically because I didn't think he was either that tall or that good.

But with Price. It is a cast iron guarantee that the tank will empty after 4 rounds.

It is hard to envisage a 6'9 19 stone man struggling with 5'10 11 and half stone man though. But alas, I can imagine it.

It would take Price's breath away half as fast as him flailing his arms.
