The media swept that under the rug. No Hauser articles. Everybody just ignored it. Canelo hasn't fought at 154 in years. The reason he stopped fighting there is because he was having trouble making the weight. He decides to drop down and fight there again. Pulls out of a drug test. Lies and says he's enrolled in the drug test. And the media didn't say ****.

You can't trust any fighter's promoter when it comes to that fighters drug tests. Duh. The promoter has a financial interest in having the public believe the fighter is not using peds.

This isn't GB though. Of course, they will lie for their fighter. This is the WBC, VADA, IBF, WBA, WBO, and the NSAC. I believe VADA or USADA did the testing, and reported it to the other organizations. The other organizations can do or not do whatever they want really. Before Mayweather said a simple pee test after the fight is basically pointless, all these organizations said so too. Heck, the WBA, WBO, and IBF still do not have any other mandated testing and neither does the NSAC.

Also, important to remember, every organization that has the authority to suspend Canelo or at least not allow their title to be on the line, stands to make a considerable amount of money off of this fight, and for future Canelo fights. Everyone with any authority has a financial interest to lie to protect Canelo. It doesn't mean they are lying about anything, just that if Canelo was cheating, they stand to make money by lying about it.
