Get out of your bubble. This fight needs building in America. Neither guy has a big profile, casual sports fans barely know them, if at all. If both guys can cross the pond and make a statement, it will build.

Beating Ortiz was all the statement Wilder needed. There's literally no other fight that could raise his profile anymore. Any talk of that is just nonsense. We all know that.

They guaranteed Parker 13 million pounds for his fight with Joshua. (AJ's minumum is 20 million pounds plus back end). Why? Because they're expecting the fighters total purse of around $55 million. Wilder is already popular enough for that fight to be massive over there. His profile is much larger than Parker's has ever been. Cut the garbage.

And Wilder isn't likely to have to defend vs a mandatory again til November assuming he is given 12 months between defenses & the WBC has always seemed more like to work around lesser fights to make bigger fights (like Joshua vs Wilder) so I'd bet against them putting a mandatory on Wilder THAT soon.

I suspect Whyte's mandatory shot doesn't come til next year sometime.

I hope Parker f#cks it all up. There is always a part of me that wants the dog to win in any fight, even with my favorite fighters anyway. This would be a nice upset that boxing needs.

Then if there is no rematch clause maybe Parker will opt to unify before cashing in again with Joshua, doubt it, but that seems more likely then Hearn helps unify the division right now.

AJ was a unified in his 19th first you all should give it a rest wilder had the chance to challenge Klitschko for the WBA belt but the idiot was so scared of loosing. He fought Ortiz because he knew is having blood related issues in his system and he almost lost the fight you don’t expect AN fighting a world champion and immediately try to face wilder just common sense ****
