Matchroom are by far the most talked about and popular just going by numbers. American fans will argue, but the AJ/Parker fight will be broadcast to all but 6 countries in the world. They are the global leaders with the biggest fights in boxing.

Matchroom definitely seems like its king of the mountain right now in putting on solid overall shows with names + competitive fights. Thats what I wanna see as a fan.
Top Rank has too many of those the red corner wins every fight type shows to be top of the heap for me.
GBP is to top heavy with Canelo & not much else going on.
I will say I see Mayweather Promotions as a sleeper promotion these days. They don't got THAT many names, but they got some talent guys on the rise & they put on among the most competitive shows in the US these days where upsets are happening & where close fights are happening. If you are a prospect who's turning pro who don't want a live opponent for 3 years don't sign with Mayweather Promotions cuz you are gonna have a L on your record.
Too many fans these days got stockholm syndrome with thinking the way a promotion should work is creating names & building guys up, but I say thats bs & as a fan its unappealing. I think you make good competitive shows from the bottom to the top & the names make themselves. Granted their still is the hype & narrative angles you have to put some work in to gain more casual/mainstream appeal, but as a boxing fan I just wanna see competitive fights at all levels of the sport above all else.

Matchroom has ONE fighter that the worldwide audience cares about: Joshua. None of Matchroom's other fighters can headline a card outside the UK.
Matchroom's non-Joshua fights are meaningless.
- Whyte-Browne? No one cares outside the U.S. Didn't even get US television until a week before the fight. No one knows Whyte in the U.S.
- Jacobs-Sulecki? Yuck. For the 2nd fight in a row, Matchroom has Jacobs fighting a no-name no-hoper.
- Quigg? Crolla? No one has heard of them outside the UK. US TV doesn't even carry their fights.
- Brook? Has been demolished twice.
Matchroom is the UK's best promoter, but not worldwide.
