WBA President Gilberto Mendoza is very surprised the recent decision by the Nevada State Athletic Commission to temporarily suspend Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Canelo was suspended - ahead of his rematch with IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin - because he tested positive for the banned substance clenbuterol in two separate tests that were taken in February.

Low Key IBO is the most non-bias of all the belt organizations. This is sick, they all want Canelo to win. They are all in bed with golden boy. I think they want the bigger name person to win cuz they can charge canelo higher dues.

Embarassing when the alphabet soup has to sing for their supper. The NSAC have given Canelo enough time to prepare for this serious case but the WBA are blinded by the sanctioning fees.

There's a very simple solution to this. Canelo provides hair DNA, which will really show what he's used, and home much of it. The suspension is bs to make the public stfu. In reality, come April 10th, Canelo will be cleared and the fight will go on.
