Both are my favorite fighters. At 135, I've this fight 50/50. At 140, I give the edge to Mikey, mainly because he's much bigger than Loma and is also skilled.

Loma should stay between 130 and 135 for a little longer and build his name and legacy. He should be business minded and only take HUGE fights at 140.

Mikey may be too big for 135.

I give Linares ZERO chance, even with his huge size advantage.

Props to both Loma and Mikey for staying active lately and fighting the best whether they be undefeated young hungry powerful dudes or crafty wiley veterans.

So when they do finally meet it will be more meaningful.

Fight should b at 135 doe

the sht never ends. the same people saying Arum wouldn't allow Loma to face Rigo and Linares are now saying he won't let him fight Mikey. when are y'all gonna give props and stop hating.

based on Mikey's last fight I see Loma boxing circles around him. the weight will be key.

It ain't a precise science but age 30 is a very good rule of thumb for when fighters start struggling to make the cut. Typically they reach their full size at around 26 or so, but then have to bounce up an extra division at around 30 because they can't drain the Lbs off any more. That said, Mikey barely stopped to catch breath at 135 so it's possible he could still do it.
