I believe so after they announced his failed drug test I went and watch the first fight with GGG . I realized how Canelo was never really hurt after GGG landed a bug shot when other fighters went down or got wobbled . GGG start making sense about how he was absorbing his punches with getting buzzed 😵 I went back watched Jnr fight but he never threw anything with stunning power so I went all the way back to Kirkland fight and not about what Canelo landed but when his opponents landed monster shots . Shocked to see not did not ever go down but never even stunned .. Yeah I know his got a concrete chin but when I watched his first title fight with M. Hatton he got rocked from that counter hook . Now Hatton is alot smaller then JK , Jnr and GGG so you got to ask yourself " Does Hatton then the 3 other bigger fighter " hell no !!!!! I believe he started before the James Kirkland fight !! Now it's just my opinion and sorry for the explanation just disappointing cause I am I huge fan of Canelo .

Canelo also rehydrated more than chavez, he fit 210 lbs on that 5'8 frame

Now I see the fight from a different perspective. JR was absorbing steroids and plaster punches, because like Margarito, YOU CAN BET CLENELO has been roiding and using illegal wraps for a while now. He just got caught against Gennady.

Was he VADA tested before the Chavez fight? If so, and if he passed the tests, we shouldn't now say that he was dirty. If he didn't do the testing, of course, then people have a legitimate gripe and this may follow him for the rest of his career.
