I love reading your stuff, Bread. SO much better than the overwhelming majority of boxing content.

I found two things about the Canelo situation very disturbing:

a) the obvious radical physical transformation in a short time.

Most people don't understand how hard it is to put on lean muscle without PEDs. There is a real and well understood limit to this. Human beings do vary as to how fast they can put on lean muscle but there are still limits. (I can posts references to serious scientific studies on this if anyone is interested)

b) just how high his dirty samples were.

The first two samples were much higher (the first 14X and the second 7X) than the readings that got Canelo banned from cycling for two years - and he claimed his readings were from tainted meat.

I can't KNOW what happened but it doesn't look good at all.

In the circumstances I think we should give GGG a break.

So Canelo got banned from cycling for two years??

GGG should just push for the fight to take place. if he loses Canelo gets zero credit. if he wins then he's a hero for beating the cheater. win-win scenario. if they turn to Billy Hoe they're gonna have a hard time dealing with that delusional mofo. in Billy's head he calls the shots vs GGG. those negotiations will drag out and GGG doesn't even make half what the Canelo fight brings.

You can spin it any way you want but at the end of the day if Triple g loses to Canelo then it's still a loss.

Virgil Hunter is a really good trainer. I saw a video of him speaking on the Jacobs-Golovkin fight. He made some really good points.

I'm not sure Winky Wright could beat Lara. It would've been a tough fight but I would give Lara the edge.

I also thought Dirrell had the edge over Uzcategui but I thought he had to make some major adjustments. I didn't think Uzcategui could fight any better in the second fight but he did. A whole lot better. It almost looked like a mismatch in the rematch

They should just push the GGG-Canelo fight back a couple months with extra testing for Canelo so the benefits of his PED cycle in February don't help him on fight night. But then they would lose the May 5th date LOL, as if suddenly big fights can only happen on two dates per year. May-Mcgregor happened on neither and look how well that did...

But it's clear how these promoters think. They wont be happy with 1.5 mil PPV buys and a clean fight if they could have gotten 1.6 mil PPV buys in a dirty fight. It's sad but I think that's the truth.

Is Canelo not allowed to improve on his skills and technique? Is his body not allowed to grow and develop on its own??
Of course a boxer will get better the older he gets. Well most of them do.
It's called learning on the job. Your supposed to get better!
And the body matures and gains weight on its own from early 20's to mid and late 20's... That's why Fighters move up in weight cause the body develops. Especially if you work out and stay active then your body will definitely develop.

Nothing in the first fight insinuates that Canelo will get knocked out. He was never hurt so why would anyone think Triple g will knock out Canelo. Or why would anyone think Canelo will knock out Triple g??
I'm not saying it can't happen cause it can. They both hit hard enough to be able to knock out each other but why would anyone bet that much money unless they are fuccing ******, ****** rich and can easily afford to lose 2g's, or have no intention of paying up.
