Help! Marvin Hagler Losing to Chuck Liddell!

Chuck would stand up and brawl, and literally get seriously injured.

I don't think Chuck would try to stand up and brawl against one of the greatest middleweights of all-time, I don't think he'd be that ******.

marvin wasn't the toughest, but he was the most conditioned fighter i have ever seen. he did have a chin of steel too, but he never fought 30+ fights against solid guys. if he would of fought more, i would be interested to see what would of happened. there probably would of been some more losses in there.

for my money, i've never seen a fighter hit harder, flush more often than chuvalo was by foreman. he took over a dozen foreman shots flush when foreman was fresh. it almost defies the laws of physics to see chuvalo absorb those shots and not shatter. he was still standing , definetly hurt but rock solid. a few more of those and foreman could have killed him. no one took a shot like this guy, not mercer, hagler or anyone else.

I just said he was the toughest for my money. It's pretty difficult to say that anyone was really tougher, seeing as how Hagler was never hurt, stopped, etc in 65+ fights. Just because he wasn't a human punching bag doesn't take away from the fact that he took multiple flush shots from 4 of the hardest punchers the sport has ever seen and he walked right through them.

I suggest you think about that twice. Leonard, Hearns, Mugabi, Sibson, Caveman Lee, Hamshox2, Roldan, Duran, Fully Obelmeijas, Antuofermox2, Minter, Bad Briscoe, Willy Scorpion, Cyclone Hart, Monroex3, Sealesx2, Wattsx2 and a handful of other SOLID guys that I can't recall.

To sum up, I'm not saying your opinion is wrong by any means, but this is a tough discussion because both of these guys were about as hard as they come.

Marvin Hagler would knock Chuck Liddell on his ass in 5 seconds flat. The only reason people are voting for Liddell is because they probably don't even know who the **** Hagler is. It's probably a bunch of 13-16 year old kids who are into the MMA movement and never heard of the other guy.

Even in the octagon Hagler would take Liddell's head off. Liddell isn't even good at MMA for christ's sake, he's a glorified bar-room brawler with little to no technique. He'd rush in looking for a knockout like he does in all of his fights, and Hagler would avoid and counterpunch him with a left hook to the body that Liddell's mother would feel.

hagler beats him in a boxing match, as for fighting liddell is more versed and skilled in other aspects of fighting and would beat hagler if kicks and ground fighting are involved.

boxing wise hagler KO's liddell within 3 rounds.

MMA liddell submits hagler within 3 minutes.

Liddell is a striker, not a ground type fighter; Regardless of that, how does a fighter in Liddell that fights in a sport that has very little talent get more votes against a proven legend like Hagler?, really bothers me....is the majority of the voters on that poll hillbilly boys?
