He was just muscle not some criminal master mind. I’m not condoning his behavior but he was an immigrant in a foreign country that fell victim to the streets. It’s happened a million times in all countries across the globe. It’s sad and it’s not right but he could’ve turned out much worse. He’s lucky he had a lot of boxing talent.

He used to make women fight each other, threatened and intimidated women and underage girls and got essentially a slap on the wrist when the women were too intimidated to testify against him. On top of that, by the time the case went to court, the legal age was lowered, thus allowing Stevenson to escape a worse sentencing. For a few fights, up to some years ago, women's right organizations came to and protested his fights. They should have continued that for all his fights. He never paid the price for his crimes. I posted that same link here about 3 years ago. I was shocked to see some defend him. He is indefensible and what he did to women and underage girls was evil.

you guys act like we're trying out guys for the church choir club. WTF????? This is among the most savage things to do in this world. You want squeaky clean than look at Alan Trammell. You want a tough sob who will just come to fight every time out than look at the guys that you are bashing. These are ****in' fighters, not choir boys. Many of them come from childhoods that you can't even imagine. A lot of these guys come up the hard way in hoods that will just make you tough and hardened. You guys mostly have no clue.......

not condoning their past deeds but, life can be roiugh or a person might have been in that state of mind. mike was bumrushing old people in his youth. don king killed a man (or more)....and who knows what foreign boxers did in their past.

i mentioned rapping since the worse a rappers life is, the more idolized they are. the more cds/concert tix they sell. a rapper cant be vicious/ruthless enough. murder is a must.

i guess the expectations of a boxer is extremely high
