  • Comments Thread For: Photos: Dillian Whyte, Lucas Browne - Ready For War in London

Following months of trash talk, Lucas Browne and Dillian Whyte weren't the least bit disrespectful toward each other Friday. They simply stared at one another for a few seconds, shook hands and walked away after weighing in for their 12-round heavyweight fight Saturday night at O2 Arena in London. Luckily, their fight figures to be much more entertaining than their last meeting before they enter the ring.

Dillian whyte talks too much smack for a guy whos career is defined by one left hook he landed on AJ, got lucky with the chisora decision and looked shyt against Helenius. Cant understand why Wilder didnt take the fight and wiped him out. Hoping Lucas Browne beats him.

Browne looks like your typical nightclub bouncer who drinks too much on his nights off. LOL!!!

Obviously, neither is a world beater, but IMO if Whyte comes to the fight in shape and stays active like he has in most of his past fights, he should get a UD here.

Was it really worth it for Whyte to keep 1 inch of sideburn on his face?

Wilder will prove to be an idiot if Whyte wins and becomes mandatory. No way then Hearn would repeat the offer of $4.5m to fight Whyte. Fighting Ortiz certainly boosted Wilder's resume, but not his wallet. At least to the extent it could have had he fought Whyte in England. Also he could have promoted himself in England on Whyte's back and improve his negotiating position for an inevitable clash with AJ. Well, that shortsightedness happens when you have 345 co-managers pulling you in every direction.
