    When it came time to make a 154-pound championship unification fight earlier this year, Showtime's Stephen Espinoza had several appealing options. Erislandy Lara-Jarrett Hurd, the bout the network will televise April 7, Lara-Jermell Charlo and Hurd-Charlo all are fights fans want to see. Those three champions were showcased as part of Showtime tripleheader October 14 at Barclays Center, but Lara-Hurd became the pick to start this unofficial super welterweight championship tournament.

      Man this is a good fight. May the best fighter win. Hopefully Charlo fights the winner either late this year or early next year.

          I really wish Andrade would MAN UP and fight Jermell Charlo on June 6th! Even a catch-weight fight @ 157 would be better than Andrade doing absolutely nothing!

              He's all talk. Gave up on him when he pulled from the purse bid to fight Charlo. He and Quillin were done with me after those moves. An unaccomplished "champ" can't get away with that type of stuff imo.

                  Fans don't want to see Lara in any fight. The Charlos arent much of a draw either.

                      I rather would had seen Charlo/Lara. Hurd is big but is still raw.

                                      Great nite of boxing between the old guard Cuban sniper and the behemoth Walking Dead zombie relentless Hurd!

                                      Picking Lara by UD with some close moment's but the footwork and firepower when unleashed will be enough for victory!
