Chavez never did much at welter. He was basically done when he got there. DLH was like 23 when they fought and Chavez was a very old 33 with 100 fights under his belt. Yori Boy was 23 when he fought Trinidad. A 23-year-old Chavez was ripping world class fighters apart. It's not even close, man.

Sad to hear about old Yori Boy. The guy has been pro since 87' man. He's been winning too! Hasn't lost in 6 years. Most of y'all weren't even a twinkle in your Daddy's eye when he turned pro.

if its a quality/quantity thing.....

you also have to factor in the need to keep fighting. not everyone is cut out to get punched on the head for more than 20 yrs
