Ramirez has a very good chin and stamina. Prograis is no joke when he goes to the body. That is the way he will get to him if they fight.

The California State Athletic Commission is arguably in the top 5 commissions in the world (in no real set order, Nevada, New York, California, and BBBoC are easily in the top 5), so that shouldn't be a worry, but I would definitely make sure that that was a negotiated deal point, if I were Team Prograis.

What would it be worth to Top Rank to have Ramirez fight in Fresno, versus the fight happening in Vegas or New York or Texas, or any other place?

Ramirez is a draw there and he can sell out the save mart center which holds 12,000+ fans. Why put it in Vegas or New York when neither draw like that over there?

Because you can. I'm not going to do the work to find the numbers, but let's not act like the tickets were at market value in Fresno.

Beyond that, fan count doesn't really matter when it comes to money conversations; when the money that Ramirez and Prograis got for their fights can likely be financed with a co-feature on Showtime, and the gate matters less.

Ramirez doesn't end up with home advantage just because.
