According to World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman, his organization is very firm with their prior order - that Jose Ramirez must fight mandatory challenger Regis Prograis. Last weekend in New York City, Ramirez (22-0, 16 KOs) capture the vacant WBC junior welterweight title with a twelve round decision over Amir Imam. And one week prior, Prograis (21-0, 18 KOs) captured the interim-WBC title with a two-round destruction of Julius Indongo.

I think we've already seen what Ramirez has but I dont think we've seen all Prograis has to offer. Prograis seems to still be getting better snd not showing his full arsenal as yet but I feel like we've seen Ramirez full tool box. Will be a good fight but i favor Prograis because I believe he is better than we know thus far and i believe much like in the Ndongo fight, a fight like this will help us realize just how talented he is. Love what I see from him.
