Comments Thread For: Pedraza Targets Lozada Revenge Clash, Arum Likes The Fight

The challenge sent by former world champion Jose "Sniper" Pedraza, to dangerous Mexican contender Antonio Lozada Jr., was well received by promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank. Arum believes the lightweight contest has legs, but he's unsure if a bout between Pedraza and Lozada Jr. could end up on the undercard of the scheduled card on May 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, which is going to be headlined by a lightweight bout between Vasyl Lomachenko and Jorge Linares.

Pedraza is going to box his ears off, Pedraza only lost to Gervonta was because he didn't box and just went in there trying to be a puncher lool...

Oh ok. He was coming off a 14 month layoff so I'm glad it went the distance at least.

pedraza should win, nothing special about lozada, too slow and wide open when he throws punches,i think it was more of verdejo not being what arum said than lozado being good

                  Pedraza is a garbage fighter.

He is nothing special, he was destroyed easily by Davis.

                  Verdejo is better than him.

...Pedraza was kept on the shelf for a long time by his former promoters that he is desperate to fight the guy that beat his friend...but he's really acting on his emotions and looking for fame ...the thing is Lozada has been on a roll for awhile now, and will kill the Sniper in the ring, he'll knock him the fcuk out!!!
