Will Canelo fight GGG toe to toe in the rematch now?

Given his new advantage, will he be confident to take the fight to GGG. Or will he do what he did last time (fight in spurts then run)?

Doesn't really matter. The whole 'he's running' thing that Sanchez and Golovkin have been saying is complete nonsense. It's the boxer's responsibility to know how to fight against all kinds of styles. They just look silly by saying "stand and fight".

If you remember, they promised that the Lemieux fight will be full of fireworks and they're two huge punchers and it will be a war, etc. What happened? Golovkin boxed the living crap out of Lemieux while barely getting hit. Nobody trolled them for doing so.

Fight in spurts then uncharacteristically back pedal.

He will probably try to trade for a round or 2, until he gets hit with something he doesn't like.

I don't think Canelo was running running (if you get my meaning), but he was only fighting in spurts. He was fighting more cautiously then he has in the past.

My point is... Even with his added advantage will he still box "smart"... Or will he try to prove something? Will he catch flack for still fighting cautiously even AFTER being caught using PEDs?

Because he was making fun of Able's claim that Canelo ran saying no comment when first asked and then 20 seconds later says with all due respect Able and then goes off saying Canelo didn't run and roasts Able for not teaching his fighter how to cut off the ring and go to the body. lol

                Why?

He's still smaller and trace amounts of clen won't give him any advantage 2 months from now. Going toe to toe with a bigger, stronger opponent would be a low IQ decision.

No he won't. He might stand his ground a little more but he will basically fight the same way as he did last fight. It's unlikely he has any new advantage. If he is cheating for this fight he likely cheated the same way last fight. Also you have to believe any PEDs make a good fighter much better. I don't think any PEDs improve a boxer that much. I think 99% of how good a boxer is in the ring comes from ability and hard training. Maybe some form of PED gives them a 1% advantage. I am not an expert but that is what I have seen. The boxers who used peds didn't seem to fight much or any better than when they did not use them. If he goes toe to toe with GGG I think he will get KOed.

Chavez is supposed to be absolutely neutral and not bias? Moving backward most of the fight might not be out and out running but it certainly isn't attacking and it could be called retreating. Maybe Chavez forgot how rarely he went backward when he was fighting. He never fought anybody the way Canelo fought GGG.
