They know if they don't get a knockout they lose, they also know AJ is game as well.

Plus when you watch his previous couple fights you can see that Parker does have issues. I was wondering why he barely jabbed or threw any straights in the hughie fight.

Supposedly he couldn't even straighten his left arm properly because of the pain.

If anything as I said before this is them saying to AJ we are here to fight
You're talking from a before the fight perspective. After the fight it will be easy to say, "as it goes, the elbow wasn't fixed after all, I felt it go in round 3 ect".Surely you've heard this enough in your time following boxing. For instance, David Haye was "100% fit no excuses" before Bellew. But we heard a tiny trickle in the media about him having treatment before the fight. After the fight, hey presto, the injury resurfaced, rematch booked. See what I mean? It's a setup excuse, made to sound like a statement of confidence.

Yes but my point being people are asking if this injury is credible and the fact that as much as a year ago they were asking a sparring partner to specifically not hit a fighters elbows probably indicates that the injury is a real one.

I get your point and it's a good point most sports people do it I guess

But team Parker have said if they lose they know they lost because Anthony Joshua was simply better.

If they didn't do the surgery they would be falling back on this one. Parker been able to train properly for the first time in years so they putting those elbows threw their paces lol and they know they haven't looked the greatest in their past couple of fights

Makes sense to me. They still use Cojanu to so I guess no hurt feelings there. Supposedly by the end of his fights Parker was in intense pain and could barely throw

I have not idea why they have released this now - Lets face it fighting Joshua is all about the payday all these other fighters are paupers when compared to Joshua.

That doesn’t sound good. Not sure if this part of the kidology game but if it’s true then I would have liked them to do a Wilder and take 2/3 tune ups before facing AJ.

Yeah, this is Parkers moment to show what he can do. Its not so much Parker I feel would make excuses but more he's camp, but then again everyone does it and it's there job to keep the marketing alive. I think it will be a good fight, AJ's experience and physical advantages giving him an edge, that reach will be very difficult to overcome and Joshua isn't nearly as slow as people make out. Wouldn't be surprised if Parker goes the distance though.
