Comments Thread For: Joshua: Expect Blood; Hope Parker Fight is Like Bowe-Holyfield

Anthony Joshua has high expectations for the type of heavyweight title fight he and Joseph Parker can produce March 31. The unbeaten British knockout artist anticipates this type of high-profile opportunity bringing the best out of Parker, who's an approximate 6-1 underdog. Joshua went as far as to suggest their championship unification fight could mirror the kind of action Rid**** Bowe and Evander Holyfield delivered 25 years ago.

“Let’s say, for instance, Parker’s Holyfield and I’m Rid**** Bowe'' - Anthony Joshua.

Fitting that A.J sees himself like that coward Rid**** Bowe who didn't want the WBC and ducked the dangerous Lennox Lewis who became his mandatory after knocking out Razor Ruddock.

Other parallels in Anthony Joshua and Rid**** Bowe : Bowe proposed that Lennox Lewis fight in his undercard of his first defense of the WBA-IBF ( the same belts A.J currently holds ) BEFORE giving him his shot, hmmm where have we heard this before?

One thing that I hope to repeat in the present from the tale of Bowe-Lewis in contrast to this situation between Wilder and Joshua, is that the dark-horse ( Joey Parker ) knocks out the Brit like Oliver McCall did at Wembley in 1994 ; derailing the mega-fight between Bowe-Lewis. That would would be cosmic karma wouldn't it?

Now I ask you friends, do you think Anthony is randomly selecting this example of one of the biggest ducks in the history of HW boxing? or could his subconscious mind be giving us clues to his and Mismatchroom's real agenda or is it FEAR of facing Deontay ' Bronze-Bomber' Wilder the WBC HW champion of the world?

The evidence is right in front of you in these recent articles quoting Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua.

Hey man if this 'unification' does not involve THE WBC or the 'Ring-Magazine' it don't even matter.

Get a look at it boys. This is it, and these pretenders need to come see Deontay for it!

You are the guy at the comedy club that needs someone to explain the joke, why do I bother with you? all you do is insult me and fail to present any valid argument for your point of view.

I feel like it will be stopped if AJ or Parker is rocked like Holyfield was in R10 if it happened in this era.

No way should Parker be influenced to handle the entire fight like Bowe/Holyfield, AJ is baiting him - thats walking into a death trap! AJ would demolish Parker with his constant straight rights and boombastic heavy handed flurries, .......

While for Parker to do damage he'd have to catch AJ with surprise flurries after using his superb light footed movement, kinda like how Corrie Sanders "jumped in" on Wladimir reigning in those superb combos for the TKO.....He also needs to use that superb footwork and STAY AWAY methodically like Fury also did on Wlad - on that back foot catching AJ's erect head with uppercuts & some straight rights of his own!

Joshua keeps his hands up, but also keeps that head erect as a statue.......hopefully this does not turn out to be a rock em' sock em' back & forth brawl. If thats the case AJ wins, and on comes the EASY MONEY Whytes, Millers, PEDvetons, & Browns of the heavyweight world....sheeeesh!
