Erm, Hatton made the big money until the end of his career, so I don't know what you're going on about. Hatton never made any deal with any fighter that if he lost the first fight his opponent made more in the rematch.Thats your biased fan opinion. Ricky Hatton was just as big if not bigger. Over here Hatton lost his fan appeal and wasn't rated highly any more! Mainly because he was always seen as a come forward one dimensional fighter by some! of course you guys got/get to see him FREE on SKY and felt pity on him....so u took it further - got drunk with the rest of the crew and saw him live for nostalgic reasons ......nice of you AND your friends to keep money in his pockets!

The deal was offered at 60-40 take it or leave it.
