Cotto had been done for like 5 years when he fought Ali.

As for Smith, his record speaks for itself...

Prime cotto would've taken out Ali and Smith on the same night within 8 rounds. Ali took advantage of a good opportunity so good for him. I think he's slightly better than Smith and should win a competitive decision.

What does those previous fights with Lara have to do with Canelo getting a gift ?

As for the Vanes fight if you watched it you’d know that when it was called off due to injury Lara was taking over that fight and I think it might have been a TR card with Vanes being the house fighter so you know he was getting preferable treatment just like Canelo got against Lara l. I bet you think Paul Williams beat Lara too

Lara and Golovkin fights weren’t that close there was a clear winner in both fights. in both fights Canelo won some rounds but didn’t do enough to win either

Let me guess you had Canelo winning 4-6 rounds against Mayweather just like the judges?
              Blah blah blah.
              ..

Molina was not a star and he had a draw with Lara.

              Stop....

Floyd beat Canelo easily but Canelo never lost with Lara or GGG.

Unless Smith also tears a muscle, I don't see it happening. He has a very good chance of winning, but battering him? Doubt it.
