Barry bonds and Lance Armstrong never tested positive either. In boxing, when you fight only twice a yr, you have the ability to cycle for 4 months, cycle off and still reap the benefits during training camp and through your fight. Unless you're doing year round testing, you have the option to dope up. Only 2 boxers I know of that do year round testing are wilder and donaire. The only boxing organization that requires vada leading into fights is the wbc, which Canelo for some reason decided to create a fake beef with for 2 yrs and now when he just decided to fight for their belt again, he tested positive. Coincidence? Maybe.

If you take a drug that's banned in all sports, then it's illegal. If it's illegal, then it's cheating.

If it helps you breathe better, burns fat while keeping muscle and ultimately keeping your strength, and gives you the ability to increase your endurance capacity - that sounds like an unnatural competitive advantage to me - aka cheating.

Smh. Fans don't get to determine if a drug is worth being banned just because it doesn't make you give you obvious physical traits such as the designer anabolic steroids like Nandralone or Winstrol.

Well said. And I’d like to add the whole “he tested clean last year/ never got popped before” excuse is also pretty dumb. These people arent TRYING to get caught. As a matter of fact they are absolutely doing everything in their power NOT to get caught. So just because someone wasn’t popped before doesn’t mean they haven’t been cheating. A dirty test is a dirty test. A violation is a violation. Fans don’t get to pick and choose. Fighters need to be held accountable and this goes for Alvarez, Nery, the Maywrather IV and whatever other top fighters there are out there. It’s ridiculous to have testing if everybody gets a freaking pass.
