maybe to allow more buildup for the big middleweight showdown. usually for a fight of this magnitude, they'll talk to the experts beforehand -
even HBO, had that in their sched. replay of Hopkins/Tarver. that is some **** though, i didn't buy it b/c they were gonna show it a week later.

HBO is running World Championship Boxing’s Jermain Taylor vs. Winky Wright live from the FedEx Forum in Memphis on Saturday, June 17 (9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT), all by itself. No airing of Hopkins’ domination of Tarver will accompany the showdown between the world’s top middleweights.
No word on whether HBO will get around to showing the Hopkins feat to a wider audience down the line or not…Comment

maybe its for the best that they don't show the hopkins-tarver fight, people will be disappointed when they/we finally see the fight we heard so much about. I've seen the 4 rounds of the that fight and im i no hurry to see the whole 12 rounds.Originally posted by goodkingbudpufferjust read on the sweet science .com, that HBO pulled the plug on Hopkins/tarver replay. anyone got any infoComment
