I didn’t know about Jennings and I am not sure why Wilder wouldn’t fight him unless he was maybe negotiating with someone else at the time. Did Tyson actually make an offer to Wilder and Wilder pass on it ? Hearn could have easily made whyte vs Wilder with winner to get a title shot ."Golden Boy Promotions reportedly turned down a fight for Deontay Wilder against Bryant Jennings, which would have aired December 8 on NBC Sports."
"A heavyweight prospect clash between Bryant Jennings and Deontay Wilder has reportedly been turned down by Golden Boy Promotions, representing Wilder. The fight would have aired on NBC Sports on December 8, when Jennings is slated to headline in Philadelphia."
Golden Boy Promotions reportedly turned down a fight for Deontay Wilder against Bryant Jennings, which would have aired December 8 on NBC Sports.
That's one...here is another...
"American Bryant Jennings (19-1) posted on his Instagram account that he planned to take Wilder's belt on Jan. 9, but Jennings' promoter told ESPN that fight wasn't in the cards."
"There have been rumors swirling on social media that heavyweight contender Bryant Jennings might get a shot at titleholder Deontay Wilder in January, but Jennings' promoter Gary Shaw told ESPN.com on Wednesday that such rumors are not true. Shaw said he's been told by Wilder’s team that Jennings is not even being considered for such a fight."
Two weeks after a successful defense of his WBC heavyweight championship with an 11th round TKO of Johann Duhaupas, Deontay Wilder showed no ill effects from a swollen eye suffered in the fight.

So in 2012 and in 2015 Wilder could have fought Jennings but passed both times.
Where did he duck Wilder in the time period that I stated? I was talking about 2013-2014 when Fury was slated to fight David Haye but that fight got scrapped due to Haye being injured, so Fury went after a Wilder fight. This is before either of them fought for a world title.
Two guys fighting to get a title shot is not the same as a champion making a voluntary defense at the time and then getting a unification bout after that. Fighting someone and then getting a unification fight usually happens when a promoter or promotional company handles those fighters. Case in point: Golden Boy was able to have Danny Garcia fight Zab Judah and Lucas Matthysse fight Lamont Peterson, and then Garcia and Matthysse fought each other in Vegas on the Mayweather-Canelo card.
On top of that, Hearn offered 4 million for Wilder to fight Whyte. When has Haymon/DiBella paid Wilder even close to that amount to fight anyone?Comment

Wilder ended up fighting Kelvin Price in 2012...I didn’t know about Jennings and I am not sure why Wilder wouldn’t fight him unless he was maybe negotiating with someone else at the time. Did Tyson actually make an offer to Wilder and Wilder pass on it ? Hearn could have easily made whyte vs Wilder with winner to get a title shot .
At the end of 2015, Wilder ended up choosing a fight against Szpilka for January 2016 who had been stopped by Jennings in 2014.
In reference to Fury, there were talks about the fight happening but no offer.
UK heavyweight Tyson Fury is pushing to get feared puncher Deontay Wilder (30-0, 30KOs) in the ring. The fight has been talked about for some time but the negotiations have never been that serious. Golden Boy Promotions, who have Wilder, have placed the blame on Fury. But Fury is placing the blame on Golden Boy Promotions and Wilder. Fury wants to get a fight with Wilder at some point in 2014.Comment

Huh?Mandatory shmandatory
...Wilders BEEN calling out your hero, but your heros "mandatory" choice is now Whyte, thats AFTER he eats & spits out big baby back rib Jarrell pillow Miller......you know what, after that fight AJ might convince Hearn to write Mike Tyson a letter convincing him to come out of retirement to "give the fans the fight of the decade!"........I know u can't wait
!
Joshua has done something in a year that took Wilder three years to do.
Shoot, it took him that long to even fight someone ranked in the top 5 in the WBC rankings.Comment

They aren't scared of you.
They see you for 2 reasons.
Your title and potential money.
Once AJ is done with you, he will still be earning bigger M's than you and carry on.
You couldn't even stone cold KO Charlie ZelenoffComment
