Carl Frampton is not buying the excuses from Scott Quigg - who failed to make weight for a world title fight with WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez. .... On a serious note though if the champion or Challenger is worried about their opponents weight it should be negotiated in the contract and docked money for every pound over weight. Or simply the sanctioning bodies should go back to same day weigh ins or each fighters weight shouldn't reach the next weight class limit on fight night. To me personally these guys know about weight advantages and what guys beat the system if they accept the fight it's on them. But don't make excuses when you knew beforehand.
