NEW YORK Oleksandr Gvozdyk wants to challenge whoever wins the Adonis Stevenson-Badou Jack fight as soon as possible. The newly crowned WBC interim light heavyweight champion can't quite decide, though, who he thinks will emerge victorious when Stevenson defends his WBC 175-pound championship against Jack on May 19 in Montreal. Gvozdyk considers Jack a legitimate threat to end Stevenson's reign, but he isn't certain whether the two-division champion can withstand Stevenson's vaunted power.

prediction: gvozdyk will make a fight with some nobody before stevenson jack even happens on may 19th...

he's takin the "if no one calls me about it" approach after he just saw that gvozdyk likely isnt ready for either guy

before this fight he was petitioning the WBC to move alvarez and it got done...so I ask this, why not petition them again to keep their word on gvozdyk getting his shot within 90 days?

To me, he will be fresh. At 40, I think 1-2 fights a year make sense if he is elite to keep fighting which he sure appears to be.

I got Stevenson over Jack, but see it as near even. Either takes care of Gvozdyk in my opinion. Good, but nothing great in him. He is a legit fighter and no scrub, but I just see him one notch below all the other 175 division elite.

That'll be Stevenson's best chance, to catch Jack cold, early. If he can't get him outta there in the first 3 rounds, I got Jack all day.

Gvozdyk got touched up by an auto mechanic saturday night. Doesn't matter what happens in in Jack vs. Stevenson because either one beats him.
