How come Laila Ali & Anne Wolfe never fought each other?

The 2 biggest names in female boxing history never fought each other, both were fighting in the same era early 2000s, both were super middleweights around that time..........why didn't it happened?

Rijker was known for beating up men in the street. Super rough.

In kickboxing she was like 36-0, mad titles and eventually fought some Muay Thai male champion in the Muay Thai style. He knocks her out, but he was going ham like he was trying to prove a point or something. But if you watch the fight, Rijker is all guts and even after getting the bad end of the stick in the first round, she mauls the guy trying to sleep him. Ali wasn't looking for that kind of test.



I've seen a few live Muay Thai fights. Those guys are rough and throw from weird angles and awkward timing.
