Yea I've been using this lately to try to clean this place up cuz this sh^t is getting old that mods aren't handling things.

I think I used it twice so far & I don't think either guy got banned, although in fairness one was skating the line.

It worked effectively the few times I've used it since I joined this site. It was against the same two guys too.

i dont think the mods have a lot of choice to be honest. they can kick out the worst offenders but they cant get rid of all of them.

Why not? It seems to me its a job that gets easier & easier as you ban people saying racist sh^t. And when cats see that happening it'll curb the guys who are skating the line a lil more.

Granted the line skaters are still around, but thats a tougher situation.

Theres a hell of a lot of posters who come here to talk about race, and youll find a lot of the most 'popular' threads are centred around that. At they end of the day they need traffic on the website.

Talking about race is fine. I've had plenty of compelling discussions here about race. There is a line of discussing the topic of race & being offensive towards a race that isn't being properly handed here often enough.

And sure this place needs traffic, but I guaranf#ckingtee this place is losing more potential future posters than its gaining by allowing some of the sh^t they are allowing. The culture is rightly or wrongly changing into a more PC culture & this sorta stuff isn't flying like it used to be. If this place is legit trying to make money they'd be trying to shut this sh^t down more & more.

I agree. The people who are causing this mischief are the ones who appear to don't have productive lives. They are miserable at best and look to project their misery and shortcomings onto others.

The thing is a lot of these guys stay within certain boundaries of acceptableness. I mean there are the guys who just outright say racial slurs & sh^t. But the most vocal guys have become great at skating the line between being outright racist to just using the proper codewords & terminology that as a one off wouldn't throw up any red flags.

When you see 20 threads over the course of 3-6 months it says a lot more about that person & their beliefs & their problems or issues with other people. I think its a lot harder for a mod to say that kinda guy needs to be banned when its all in bounds by itself, but as this guys' MO is much more questionable behavior.

fair enough, i have to disagree cause i think the more strict they are with it, the less people will post. i think theres more posters who are passionate about talking about race and using boxing as a way of promoting a racial agenda, then there is people who actually want to talk about the ins and outs of the sport.

You'll run into some weirdo here & there who tend to get banned, suspended or w/e for sure. A certain higher than you'd expect % of posters here are weirdo's is the difference + they seem to face being banned, suspended or w/e a lot less often from what I see.
