Interesting read. Helenius looks & sounds done.

Repetitive injuries & clear cut losses to Duhuapas, Whyte & Chisora (despite the scorecards) who are all top 20 guys suggest that the only way he is able to pick up wins from here on out is if he drops down to the journeyman circuit.

I don't think 'The Nordic Nightmare' suits him.

The right hand was actually broken. Helenius might as well retire, he had some potential but he seems to be made of glass.

Helenius never came back after that injury that gave him the monster voice. It made for a cool persona but a sad career trajectory. His promoters also ****ed him pretty bad after he ran out of money while recovering.

Yeah, Helenius is probably done as a contender. Another guy that looked like he was on his way to a significant level of success, but never got there. Probably time to start looking at retirement or becoming a journeyman

I have not followed him much. What exactly happened to his voice? It was changed from a fight injury?

He had 5 days training for the whyte fight. He was completely gassed after 2 rounds and whyte still couldn't get near him.
