Awesome. This needs to happen next, barring Stevenson-Jack unifying with Beterbiev, Bivol, or Kovalev next. Then, that could take precedence. That's the only thing fans could accept after all the WBC bull****. Unification, or mandatory fight with Gvozdyk. Nothing less.

Do you have any idea what's going on with Beterbiev? I was wondering why Arum wouldn't make an in-house fight with the IBF champion, until I came across this:

      March 2, 2018:

You have maybe seen reports on the net telling you that Artur Beterbiev has found a new promotional home, that the Russian native and Canadian resident has latched on with the Las Vegas based Top Rank.

Balderdash, says Top Rank executive Carl Moretti tells me.

Specifically, when I asked him if he likes that Beterbiev versus Marcus Browne light heavyweight showdown that has been kickin’ around Rumorville, he replied, “We have nothing to do with either fighter.”

      Wait, what…

Yep, those reports are “more internet BS,” Moretti stated.

I think either man beats Gvozdyk, but I agree with him- he has earned the shot and the winner should be lined up for him next.

Every top light heavy boxer took their path. Nail took a wbc route. Win or lose he deserves a shot at the belt NEXT. No excuses

the wbc allows a 3 belt holding fighter to be a mandatory...who were they bullcrapping?

they moved alvarez like they should have done after he refused to fight stevenson...

u're point the blame at the wrong ppl

I've lost all hope in Gvozdyk after that last outing...He has getting tagged way too much and just like Bradley was saying he was just standing there waiting to be hit...

One can say...hey they did it on purpose against a light hitting guy to get guys to face him...like "hey this guy can't punch, take shots so the rest of the division will want to fight you" but I seriously doubt that.

He cannot take shots like that from any of the top guys, well no one can, but he was just eating them shots.

If I were Beterbiev, I would be trying to leave GYM too! There's no reason why he couldn't have faced Alvarez or Stevenson at least once by now! Badou Jack steps up an immediately gets Stevenson! There are rumors that Kovalev might fight Marcus Browne next. Gvozdyk already has a WBC belt! That has to make Beterbiev very angry!

This euro hypejob is a lower B level fighter.

                    Stevenson/Jack beats this eurobum easily.
