Bernard Hopkins is the greatest Middle Weight Champ Of All Time.

It is very funny how the Hopkins haters for years put him down by saying- he is not great because he never moved up in weight...It is now a pleasure to say he not only moved up in weight but he moved up and beat THE MAN of the light heavyweight division....something that even Hagler, Ray Robinson, Roy Jones did not do....remember although Jones moved up and got the Lightheavyweight belt..he did not beat THE MAN the real champ...Tarver was universally seen as THE MAN, the top dog of the lightheavyweight division and Hopkins handed him his head.
It was a blessing in disguise that they ripped off Hopkins against Taylor otherwise he would not have moved up to prove himself. Now he can retire knowing he was the best Middleweight OF ALL TIME. And the haters can never use the lame excuse of 'he never moved up in weight'.

The only decent, natural middleweights he ever fought he lost to.

Get off boxrec, and pay no attention to the records, its the wins on the records that matter, he did beat alot of notable names, and the win against Tarver secured his legacy.

Not that it wasn't already secured.

Record 20 straight title defenses is the biggest reason I rank Hopkins #3 of all time.
