probably nothing. wilde rhad been boxing for 2-3 years at athat point. this looks like international amateur competition. that guy was probably a gronw man, had a stipend from his government to train and fight, and had been boxing for several times as long as wilder.


wilder was a basketball and football prospect until he had a child with disabilities. he gave up on the idea of going division 1 and turned to boxing because people offere dhim money. it's a pretty well documented story. he didn't start boxing until he was 19 or 20. he won the olympic trials with 21 fights...

this means absolutely nothing about wilder's ability, or the abilityof his opponent. a guy with 20 fights is supposed to lose to a guy with international amateur experience.
