I wonder is Taylor realizes that if Hopkins came at him like he did Tarver he would have never been MW champion and would have only fought Hopkins once.

Hopkins did his best against Taylor. He didn't have the energy for 12 hard rounds at 160, and wasn't able to bully Taylor as much as he could with smaller guys moving up (DLH, Tito).

Time to move on. Hopkins is a hall of famer, Tarver is a bum. Taylor is using the win to pump up his wins over Hopkins, but that's comparing apples and oranges.

Hopkins couldn't fight that way against Taylor becase of Taylor speed and power. Hopkins couldn't deal with that the same way he deal with an old slow Tarver.
