Ocas Valadez style is hurting him?

Valadez has the potential to beat every fighter at feather imo. But his problem is he gets himself into to many dog fights, his last 3 fights have been action packed but it could really hurt him in long run def with a dude like Santa Cruz if that every happends. He has the tools to be a very top notch fighter but only applying it in wars, whats ur thoughts on this?

I think thats how he fights. I think he's most effective fighting that way.

But yea he's gonna be shot or a shadow of the guy we see now within 3 or so years probably. Hell this jaw issue might lower him a couple notches next time we see him.

I think your way off on this. The fact that he has to go thru he ll to beat the level he is fightin should tell you that. And he don't have the skills to fight anyother way.He has hit his peak any top 3-5 26pder beats him but the kid as ALL the heart in the world.I just believe THIS IS the best he has.

I agree he also loads up with every shot leaving himself open he also retreats back in a straight line with head up in the air catching left hooks as he moves back

If Valdez could win his fights other ways he would. He's all offense all the time, but that's what makes his fights exciting. Give him some soft touches after his tough fights and he should be fine.

This kid is not all of a sudden turn up a master boxer one day, he's making it work with what he has. Hopefully he gets a solid payday because I don't see him sustaining that style of fighting for much and he'll be shot soon, I almost find him comparable to Juanma Lopez who had a short prime. Let's just hope he gets out with his health in tact.
