You can’t give Canelo a round for 1 or 2 counters that didn’t score KDs or stun the opponent.
Defense is good but it doesn’t negate GGGs greater body of work in 7

You can argue 11 but GGG led while Canelo defended. In a close round it goes to the aggressor.
In a close round it goes to the A-Side. That's Canelo. Hasn't Mayweather taught you this?

I agree. Maybe 116 to 112. GGG clearly won in my eyes by throwing and landing more punches in most rounds and taking the fight to Canelo. Canelo was sharp fast and accurate and landed some clean wicked punches but he fought in spurts. He backpeddled too much and threw too few punches to win many of the rounds. GGG was always the attacker. That's how I saw the fight anyway. I am a big fan of both boxers and think they are both excellent fighters.

        Had it 8-4 Canelo.

        Easy fight to score.

Accuracy and effectiveness are important to me and so is defense.

Canelo landed more power punches, evaded more/better, and didn't throw pitter patter shots. Just because he was "backing up" doesn't mean he wasn't doing what he wanted.

Very easy fight to score. Stunned at the alleged controversy, but people also say Pac got robbed by Horn and it was clear Horn mugged the old trash.

To the objective and trained eyes, it could have gone either way....a Draw was the best/most fair decision...

Classic projection. Canelo easily won 3 of the first 6 rounds and 2 of the last six. The only judge who had it for Golovkin gave him 7-5.

You chearleaders need to take your head out your asses and address your ******, pathetic and infantile bias.

Good to see you too, brother!

It’s crazy to see how many crazy, ignorant and dumb opinions there are on here. But then again, isn’t this what PT Barnum said about the majority of folks?

I saw it 6 rounds to 5, with one round even for GGG. But Jhonny had it 7/5 for Canelo.
We are both Mexican.. I'm mex ***, he's Azteca royalty from Atzlan.
