  • Ali wanted Liston, Mayweather wanted Del la hoya, SRLeonard wanted Hagler, Lennox wanted (an old) Tyson etc.,.......the point is: if you are a viable opponent in the game - in it for the glory money OR both, then EXPECT to be CALLED OUT by elite competition thats worked JUST AS hard as you.....Wilder isnt known? "Nobody knows Wilder - blah blah blah!" He's KNOWN NOW by those who NEEDS to know who he is! AJ fangirls are soley steeped into popularity bragging rights and hiding their idol in the confines of England & his inordinate amount of cash.....theyre threatened by anyone confident enough to challenge their hero. Sad.

Mayweather started making big money after Oscar.... Wilder now making smaller money compared to AJ isn't the end all of his earning power! AJ fanboys want it to be. Wilders gonna keep talking and runnin' his mouth - not because he's arrogant or low class, its because a big mouth will garner the attention & opportunity he needs to get his chance at becoming an undisputed champion! Something he's worked long and hard for....Do you think he should join the quiet passive club and jump on the AJ bandwagon admiring his celebrity!?!? Thats not gonna work.

    • Windmill is all about the money...

He wont be chasing Parker so hard after Oilskin knocks AJ out!!!

      • AJ is a class.act, not a loudmouth with something to prove.

people act like their above the wrestling drama...but deep down everyone loves it....

and if wilder does indeed get in there and cause a stir it will help get the fight done...because the pressure will be on hearn...once the media and fans start putting pressure on guys it will get done....thats what happened with canelo.....so if wilder gets the spot stirring it will help set things in motion

and deep down all the AJ defenders know that
I guess my point is that all that noise doesnt mean that he wants the fight right now. Canelo literally called GG into the ring and then didnt fight him for ages.

Wilder wanting to get into the ring and have a face off doesnt mean he necessarily wants the fight next, just the same as AJ saying he doesnt want to hype a fight that isnt signed isnt a sign he doesnt want the fight.

We will find out who wants what after the Parker fight (should AJ win) when they reopen negotiations. If AJ/his team starts putting up serious road blocks then I will call him out on it.

I really want them to fight next, but I think i could stomach one more interim fight, if it was purely a 'build up' fight. They will need that if they are planning to go to Vegas. So Joshua vs Miller in the US on Showtime is ok, but not ideal, for me because its clear what they are building towards.

          • Take away the names, take away the faces and take away the surface meanings and look at what you have at the core of this.

A champion that is saying he doesn’t want to come anywhere too close to hyping up a fight/being associated with his closest rival.

Make of that what you will.

            • Ha ha Wilder knowing Joshua doesnt want him to jump in the ring after the fight to call him out well what do you think hes gonna do now jump in that ring and call AJ out to the high heavens.
Lol you just given Deontay ammunition to use against you.

So considering Wilder is nowhere near Joshua as far as popularity goes, casual fans will see the post-fight Wilder confrontation, look him up and be intrigued by his undefeated record filled with knockouts.
Even if some fans disliked Wilder because he gets up in the ring and starts acting up will make them tune in.

This is about getting the most about of viewers for the fight. Not to hide behind sensitive feelings or you simply know that you are not going to face the man any time soon

On what planet does wilder not want to fight Joshua. He made the Ortiz fight to build his profile and pressure team Joshua. He and his team have all but begged Hearn to negotiate.

It's more of a question of whether team Joshua wants the fight.

If Wilder jumps into the ring, it'll just be chaos, yelling and an attempt for Wilder to try and steal AJ's night. The Klitschko fight was signed by sitting down, negotiating like grown men and then announcing the fight right after the Molina fight. There was no need for yelling bombsquad or any of Wilder's WWE tactics. And that fight went to Wembley, broke records and made both camps very rich. Wilder should take a lesson and then maybe the fight can be next. Stop running his mouth like an angry ex wife, and start acting like a grown man and sit down to negotiate.

Hahahahaha. Angry Nigerian ex house wife
